Schedule of Events for Fall and Winter 2020
Like all of you, we are growing tired of being in the middle of a Major Historical Event. The global pandemic has caused huge changes to all of our lives, and made it impossible for us to invite you into the museum or to schedule our usual community events.
Sadly, our special mini pop-up exhibit on Wakefield’s Women during Women’s History Month (March) and a brand new major exhibit on Wakefield Schools have been postponed to 2021 (we hope!)
Special Events:
Twilight Tour of the Old Burying Ground
Our perennial favorite tour of the year was VIRTUAL THIS YEAR.
We are considering scheduling another session of the tour. If you have interest, please let us know by email.
We are excited to be able to show close-up photographs of the gravestones discussed, offering a view that our ordinary tours cannot.
And — for the first time, viewers from other areas will be able to join the tour without leaving their homes!
*Virtual Tour of the Museum. We are hoping to have this up and running soon. Follow this page for more information.
